How I Approach Our Sessions:
I blend evidence-based approaches like the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), CBT, and DBT to get to the root of what’s happening in your relationship or family dynamic.
We focus on what’s actually effective, not just what feels good in the moment.
EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy)

Helps identify and shift emotional patterns that impact relationships and attachment.
CBT (Cognitive Behavourial Therapy)

Focuses on changing unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours.
DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy)

Builds skills for emotional regulation, mindfulness, and managing intense feelings.

Consultation
Book your free 15-minute call to get a feel for the process and see if we’re the right fit to work together.

First Couples
Session
In your first 75-minute session, we will meet together to discuss your relationship history, what’s brought you here, and how things are feeling today.

Individual
Sessions
Each of you will have your own 50-minute session to share your personal experiences, family history, and individual perspective.

Gottman Relationship Checkup (Optional)
Depending on the state of the relationship. You will each be sent a separate invite to the Relationship Checkup questionnaire. Highly recommended for pre-marital counselling.

Couples Feedback & Next Steps
You’ll come back together to review the insights from your sessions and, if applicable, the questionnaire. We’ll talk through your goals and create a clear path forward together.
